Thanks for your help on that one Kim ;)

Next for your consideration, please find attached another badge. This time it's a person and not a ship. It's a badge for the British Commodore of Amphibious Warfare (COMAW).

With kind regards,

Andy.

Beautifully done, but the righthand vertical of the"M" is a bit thick

The need for good sources are well-known whether we draw ships or planes or badges. The differences in the result are often seen when another artist updates an older drawing. For the first time I've redrawn one of my badges when I get the quite right source (from Bombhead's book of RN vessels from the Admiralty). I'll give my first version and the new one. The difference is quite obvious :D

I'll guess it's not necessary to tell which one is the new :?: ;)

 Wow Kim, You really ARE a true master when it comes to drawing these badges now...

For my next effort, please find attached the COA for HMS Kent, D12 (County Class Destroyer) and now F78 (a type 23 frigate).

Thanks Rodondo, I thought that at the time, but that's how the lettering came out... I will however take another look and amend it, so thanks for your comment ;)

@ adenandy: Very beautiful. Good fixing of the title in COMAW badge. A little nitpick. Could you avoid the shadows which VECTOR-IMAGES.com use? I think it's a kind of "trademark" they use which not is used by the Admiralty ;)

Great work Kim and Andy. One slight correction Andy.Your badge was only used on the type 23 as that pattern was only issued in 1996,never the less superb work.Keep them coming mate. ;)

With the help from Bombhead I've got pictures of the badges for the heavy cruiser HMS Kent (54) and the destroyer HMS Kent (D12).
Furthermore these two get the collection of british badges up to 200 pieces :D (175 official RN - 7 RFA - 18 unofficial RN)
Here they are ;)
