I think you have made a beautiful job here DG, but I wonder that you chose not having the badge sides paralel until the below curve?

I'm sorry being so late (I've just forgot :( ) But here is the altered badge for Admiral Hipper by DG_Alpha. It's uploaded at page 1 in a template too.

For Weisman's pre-dreadnought SMS Elsass had DG_Alpha drawn this badge (it's uploaded both in Kaiserliches Marine post and Reichsmarine post!) ;)

Hello!

Maybe someone can place these two on the appropriate sheet:

SMS Frankfurt 1915 - 1918

SMS Wiesbaden 1915 - 1916

Greetings

Though I'm not moderator here anymore after the abolition of these, I think it's still up to me to get it uploaded in templates in the appropriate sheet ;)
And for the badges, you've done a very fine job on these two :D

Edit: Both badges for the two Wiesbaden light cruiser class are now uploaded at page 1 ;)

Most of you have probably already seen the beautiful badges DG_Alpha had made for the Helgoland class in that thread, but here they are (SMS Helgoland, SMS Oldenburg, SMS Ostfriesland, SMS Thüringen) followed of three badges for the König class (unfortunately I haven't been able to find the badge for SMS Kronprinz :( ). The badges represent SMS Grosser Kurfürst, SMS König and SMS Markgraf

Third ship Nürnberg... This one had been a pain mostly for the Coat of Arms. So the city of Nürnberg has not one, but two Coat of Arms (historical reasons, go figure...). One is the golden eagle/angel on blue, the other one is the black eagle with the stripes. So when I first drew the cruiser back then it had been a really pain to find any photographic reference which showed which of the two Coat of Arms had been used. So naturally I was relieved when I found a clear photo showing the eagle and stripes combination clearly on the port side if the bow.
Naturally, when I was done and the picture had been uploaded, I found another photograph showing the starboard side of the bow with the golden angel. This has been nagging me for a while and since I was updating the ships anyways, here's Nürnberg with her two Coat of Arms:

:D I understand why it was a pain for you. How should I manage two different badges carried by same vessel at the same time in one template? It might not been the most elegant solution, but I'll think what I've done would be useful. Link to the post: http://www.shipbucket.com/forums/viewto ... 084#p61193
BTW both badges are very high level drawings :D
