The larger of the turret is a odd number in the base is an even number so, if the base is a perfect circle, the drawing doesn't fit the reality. For another example, if you take a front view of the turret, one side of the turret itself will be larger, by one pixel, that the other side...

Congratulations, you've found the limit of shipbucket accuracy. I did the checking based off of the drawings at the HNSA website, os I know the sizes are accurate. My only solution to you is to increase the base size when needed (only on a front view will this be necessary). |

tacan mast? tacan is IIRC only the antenna on the top of it. the spruance drawings in the archive have both the 1970 and 1980+ variations |

I found a reference for the very famous 0,5" MG (L/90 M2 Browning model) (very usefull for almost all US warships of the 1920's-1942 era...) One of you can draw it and add on the official US part-sheet ? |
