An aircraft that had absolutely no right being as successful as it was (maybe), the 'Sabre Slayer', the Folland Gnat and it's Indian cousin, the HAL Ajeet.

Compilation of aircraft used by the USN & IJNAS at the time of the battle of Midway. I may do the USMC's set (SB2U & F2A) and the B-26Bs that were based on the island but at a later time, who knows.

The Hornet was CV-8, the Wasp was CV-7.
