By the way, during the hiatus of sorts, I have decided that the entirety of the United States does not collapse in 1975 as originally stated, but CA seceded from the rest of the union in the 1970s. @Cascadia I have a feeling (perhaps unfounded) it's just You and the boom is of the more-or-less right size (I drew it: http://shipbucket.com/vehicles/6934/file )  (and seriously - the boom was adapted from KC-135, but since 747 is much bigger plane, the boom makes really small impression). ![[ img ]](https://www.airhistory.net/photos/0164521.jpg)
