Great work from everyone. One thing I will say about the 748/Andover series is that the military 748s were not Andovers. The only Andovers were the rear-loading 748MF Andover C.1 and the only normal 748 series aircraft to be named Andover were the six VIP/Royal transports, the Andover CC.2, used by the RAF. Some Andover C.1s were later passed to New Zealand and then some did find their way to civil use in Africa. But all the military export versions of the basic 748 sans rear cargo ramp were not Andovers. |
