Not really its a non-story that got picked up by blogs and media, basically the equipment plan for the next 5 years was published and in it had a reference to "interceptors", at which point everyone started talking about us buying Jets. In reality it was a one line statement put there only because the older WP referenced in the "if we ever spent the money wouldn't it be nice" and whoever did the Equipment Plan felt they had to reference.

Yep, though god willing they will now get to the extra one, its paint job just looks bad compared to the others.
