One of the drawdacks of F-102 was that it did not have guns, could it modifird to to have one? F-106 did had gun and this is a solution. Could an F-102 take Aden guns ?

It was designed to intercept Soviet bombers and for that role guns aren't really a priority. The only thing I could see it taking is a gun pod on one of the two hard points such as the SUU-23/A if you really wanted a gun.

And have all the issues of having a gun in a pod, that was a thought I had some months before. So no F-102 for RHAF (AU). I know why the F-102 was designed.
