Well, we have threads for land vehicles, planes, and ships, but nothing in FD for small craft, so I figured I'd start one. I'll start off with my own boat, an orange Atlanta Kolibri, after Novice suggested it here. ![]() The Kolibri was built by the Atlanta Boat Works in West Germany from 1970-1978, when the company folded after it's owner died in a plane crash. In America the Kolibri was marketed as the Koralle Jr. |

The Optimist, used for training children as old as 15. It is the slowest sailing dinghy, with the highest PYN, 1648. ![]() One of the most fun boats to describe, "Oh, that's an Optimist pram." ![]() |
