Nice. :)
What was the organization of Hellenic aviation (army and navy during the conflict with Turkey?)

Air Force (What found after a quick search)

The first Hellenic aircraft landed on Smyrna at the first day of the landing operations. In December 20, 1919, the "Aviation Service Directorate of the Asia Minor Army" (Hellenics: Διεύθυνσις Αεροπορικής Υπηρεσίας Στρατιάς) was founded, as a branch of the Army of Asia Minor. The Hellenic forces initially deployed four fighting sqaudrons: the 1st, 2nd Airplane Squadron, based in Kazamir and the 3rd Airplane Squadron based in Panormos. Addidionally, the "Smyrna Naval Air Squadron" of the Hellenic Naval Air Service was also deployed in Asia Minor. Each squadron counted from 8 to 12 aircraft, but as I said before, each squadron had various different types-they were not "dedicated" squadrons.

I think that each squadron had both training, fighters and reconnaissance aircraft.

I've been watching this thread with interest, and I must say that it is truly amazing, both in regards to the drawings, and historical, and other, information.
Very well done Odysseus1980. Keep it up, and amaze us all.

The Caudron G.III was used as training aircraft in Minor Asia Campaign, perhaps also in 1917-1918.

In 1917-1919 both Hellenic Aviation Services (Navy and Army) received several Sopwith aircraft (Camel, Pup, Triplane, Baby, Strutter). Some received directly the blue-white roundel of Hellenic Air Force and other received overpaint roundel. Latter had a additional white external circle. Navy Aviation used them both for sea patrols and bombing in Minor Asia Campaign. Color was generally all green with roundels at upper and below wings, but the most characteristic color was a "chessboard" painted on a Sopwith Baby flown by a pilot called Dimotakis. Unfortunately neither his first name or number of his aircraft are known.
