German Type XXIII

Germany, Type XXIII Hai and Hecht (1963)

REVISED
REVISED with DG_Alpha's shields

Feel free to comment and suggest corrections!

Notes: Depending on the drawing or photo there was quite a bit of variation in free-flood holes. Telling me the holes are wrong simply doesn't hold water.
Hai and Hecht: I'm not satisfied with the Hatches in the sail, they were not uniform port and starboard nor were they likely identical on the two boats. Good images are rare! If anyone has something good, I'd love to see them.

Primary source: Vom Original zum Modell: Uboottyp XXIII.

Speechless !
As Typ XXIII is my favorite U-boot, I just can say (in French) : "Je suis sur le cul !".

Really well done. Shows that this scale could work for these smaller submarines. Also, really like the colors too, may need to "borrow" then for SB side
