Those are both splendid, but I have one remark: Qantas A380s are powered by Rolls-Royce engines, not EA ones.

Just to keep the plane unload consistent today, the reengined super70s of the DC-8 series took me less time han anticipated, I didn't take into account (this time for the better) the fact that most of the work had basically been done while working on the super60s.
So, DC-8-71, DC-8-72 and DC-8-73 in their various variants:

Very nice drawings, altough I think that Super Sixty and Seventies probably had some center of gravity issues in real life in case the wing area remained the same. (I'm not sure)

A few years ago, fellow user Cunardfan drew the Fokker 28 airliner, both in its mk1000 and mk4000 versions. Lately I thought about adding the mk2000 and mk3000 models as well, and then using them all as basis to eventually draw the Fokker 70 and Fokker 100, which are possibly among the last airliners still missing from our FD archive (other are possibly the stretched CRJ, the new Embraers and the latest Russian and Chinese ones).
Yet, as soon as I started something bothered me. Scaling was almost spot on (just two pixels off, no big deal and easily fixable), but the tailplanes extended way to much aft of the vertical stabilizer. In short, that made the aircraft some 25 pixels off scale, or more than a meter. In the end I choose to start from scratch.

Here is the Fokker-28 in the -1000, -2000, -3000 and -4000 versions:
[ img ]
The -1000 is the basic model. The -2000 is a stretch of the baseline. The -3000 is the baseline with the increased wingspan. The -4000 has both the fuselage stretch and increased wingspan. The -6000 is basically a 4000 with slats (basically invisible in FD scale)

Eventually, the Fokker 70 and 100 will come as well.

Nice work BB!

This is the Tachikawa Ki-54 Otsu (fish) twin-engined advanced trainer aircraft. It was produced in three major variants; the Ki-54a unarmed advanced trainer, the Ki-54b gunnery trainer, and the Ki-54c passenger/communications aircraft. (pictured is the Ki-54b and the Ki-54c)

Nice to see the Fokker F28. I think somewhere there is the F28 COD.

There were however some variants, according to Wikipedia Article:

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fokker_F28_Fellowship

These are for the Never Built Thread.

-5000 and -6000 were basically series -3000 and -4000 with leading edge slats, a difference that would be basically invisible in our drawings (by the way, two -6000s were actually built so I've added the labels to the previous post). I'm currently working on the -6600 and it should be done within the day.
The Fairchild 228 is more tricky to do, other then being shorter it was also supposed to fit different engines (Rolls-Royce RB-203) that didn't enter service, so I have no idea how the nacelle would have looked.

Very nice additions from everyone.
BB1987, have you tried the Secretprojects forum for details of the Fairchild 228?

I found nothing unfortunately.

In the meantime, Fokker-70 and Fokker-100:
