USA, F-16C/D Block 30 Fighting Falcon (366th FS)
Back in the days of yore (the 1950s), the then-Youngstown Air Force Base had a full three squadrons of fighters. The 166th Fighter Squadron of the Ohio Air Guard, the 86th Fighter-Bomber Squadron of the Air Force Reserve, and the 86th Fighter-Interceptor Squadron of the Aerospace Defense Command. By 1960, none of these units were based in Youngstown. This work is a what-if piece for a universe in which fighters remained at the base under AFRC command.

An interesting what-if and the Dash 8 looks cool in the RAF training colours.

Some Hawker Hunters in modern RAF colours.

If ATAC and Apache can still operate Hunters, why can't the RAF? An imagining of if (heavily upgraded) Hawker Hunters were kept in service by the RAF as aggressor and training/evaluation aircraft due to their (somewhat) unique flight characteristics. And just because why not.

Hunter avation operated Hunters out of scampton in a variety of roles they have recently moved to Leemimg where 100Sqn is located with their legacy hawks. 736 who did the Fradu role has disbanded and 100 has taken that over soon to be taken over by Draken with Albatros. They have the nicest Hunter scheme I've seen the ex embraer chase plane.

Did always wonder Hunter single seat with Blu Fox or Blue Vixen Radar or the LRMTS from the harrier GR3 would be intersting hunters
