The MiG-23PFM looks stunning, certainly looks different with a full-nose radar radome and side intakes. |

Thanks! It definitely, looks very different to the Ye150 family even though the only major modifications are in the front. It gave me a lot of Foxbat impressions as I worked on it.I think it would've been a great alternative to the Su-15, and maybe even steal a couple sales from the MiG-21, even with a much much higher price tag. The big radar coupled with the two AA-4 Awl SARH would make it a pretty decent medium-range interceptor, although the single man crew would probably put extra stress on the pilot. In my AU, it's appearence definitely made some people in the West worried! |
