Dornier Wal II in Yugoslav service

Yugoslavia operated 1 Do J Wal, and 10 Wal II aircraft before WWII.

[ img ]

In line with Dornier's inhouse naming convention the initial 6 aircraft were the Gas submodel (G for Gnome-Rhône engines, a for transport, s for seaplane), one Bas (BMW engines), and 3 Kas (Hispano-Suiza engines). Before the War, the first 3 aircraft were re-engined with the more powerful Hispano-Suiza engines.
None of the aircraft survived the Axis invasion.

Great work!

@Sheepster
I believe that You wanted to post that Dornier in a different thread. ;)

@Blue Funnel
The Maluch turned out in the FD scale much better than I'd expect.
(but I think that wheels could be made bit more rounded)

Great looking additions, especially the Marmon-Herrington, which is really stunning. I'm truly impressed!

Since as of right now, the current country I reside in is currently celebrating it's independence day, so I decided to give 'em a bit of a treat:

Philippines, M41 Walker Bulldog

Viva la independencia Filipina!
