Who's been following?
For those that don't know what it is its the first large scale amphibious exercise in more then a decade with the intent to test out new ships and technology, International cooperation, and bone up on old TTP and develop new ones.
I have been following the exercise on Navy.mil, the BA'12 Facebook page and through militaryphotos.net and I got to say I really like the French Navies BPC Mistral LHD and their L-CAT landing barge.
