If I remember correctly, post-war, delay coils were provided to the center guns. This means there was a slightly delay between firing the outer guns and the inner guns(I assume). In-war however they were probably about as reliable as most quads.
That specific photo is of Jean Bart, so she has most deffinately gotten the problem solved, since she was completed post-war.

I'm not sure on the effectiveness of those quads, but I don't think the turrets on the ship one over would be very effective in battle. :lol:

KHT Thanks for the link, i understand that the openings the larger barbettes would make would weaken the hull but i still think the Bismarck Class Battleships should have had tripple 15s.
