Never build design:
Ships design that was consider for the Naval build program of 1960's:

- Modified Fletcher class
When new main combat ship for the Navy was considered, the navy chose to build there ships on modified existing hull design, at the moment I have information on only one of the considered design, It was a design based on a fletcher-class hull that was modified for Norwegian needs.

I will draw 2 artist version of an modified fletcher class, will look similar to Oslo class, with:

Version 1:

- 5" guns (with modern firing control)
- 40 mm guns
- Terne III
- 2 X triple torpedo tubes
- Depth charges
- Helicopter deck (perhaps hangar)

Version 2:

- 3" guns aka Oslo class
- 40 mm guns
- Terne III
- 2 X triple torpedo tubes
- Depth charges
- Helicopter deck (perhaps hangar)

(Version 3: Fram II?)

- Sleipner class (as original designer: 10 meter longer version)

Sleipner class was original designed 10 meter longer with better stability and seakeeping, but was cut down, due to Government believed they was to big and expensive. There was also planned a total of 4 Sleipner class corvette and only 4 frigates, but when the government decide to cu down on the corvette, the Navy build the 5th frigate in the Oslo class.

ships Build after 1970's up to the modern era, will come:

Very good information there Heuen.

Normally we just see 'scrapped', but to see it as it has been laid out to the plan you have given really gives an idea of how much planning goes into balancing in service to being built.
