After 103 years, the final resting place of HMAS AE1 has been found. She was found in approximately 300m/1000ft of water off the Duke of York Islands, relatively intact, seemingly upright and in one piece. One that RV Petrel didn't find! http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/mi ... 51f944e64f So we now have closure for the families of those men lost aboard, lest we forget. |
