It seems extremely unlikely to me that the salvage crews trained the 76mm just to see if it worked. Guns are cheap, they would have better things to do, and a variety of other reasons.

I find it interesting to see how much rust have appeared on the hull after it have come out of water.

Now the Navy working on:

- saving as much of high value components.
They have a list of 2400+ components, of them they have already taken out 1400 components and they are at the moment being preserved.

They are even trying to save as many circuit boards as they can, since the cost millions of Norwegian krones, so they say it's worth the chance. (Norway have specialist in that area)

They also say, mechanical parts are easy to save compare to other parts that are prioritised.

- They will weld new plates on the hull, the plane is that she can float by here self in a 5-6 weeks time

- they will do a full 3D scan of the ship and measurement, to see if the global structure haven't take damage.

- then they will send in there report and recommendation to the government, what will happen to the frigate is a political mater and that will be interesting, since the government are under pressure for having neglected the military for quit some time now

If she gets refurbished, they need to take out all isolation and walls. They need to open every bit of items that can contain water.
And indeed check it afterwards.
Full clean otherwise mold starts to come.
Most cables will be reusable if the isolation of the cables are still correct.
But i guess you can say goodbye to all electrical components that where on when it touched water.

Doubtful she'll get refurbished. The plating to get her watertight is so she can float on her own and save the Gov't the rather hefty daily fee for the floating barge she's currently on.
