With all of the talk of the discoveries of the shipwrecks found by the crew of R/V Petrel, let's bring the discussion of the finds and breaking new finds made by Robert Kraft and his team.
As we all know, so far they have found to date:
-Battleships: Musashi, Fuso, Yamashiro
-Cruiser: USS Indianapolis (CA-35)
-Destroyers: Artigliere, Yamagumo, Asagumo, Michishio, USS Ward, USS Cooper, Shimakaze, Hamanami, Naganami, and Wakatsuki.

Not one of RV Petrel's accolades, but a Japanese discovery. Isokaze has been located.

This is a major development, so I think it deserves its own posting.

Cool stuff, but as requested please keep all the ship discovery threads in one place.

Petrel's crew are really on a roll. Are they planning to find them all?

Hope they'll find some of the Japanese aircraft carriers.

A nice surprise was just announced by the Petrel gang: they have located USS Juneau. Ironically, she was found on St. Patrick's Day, notable because of the five Sullivan brothers who served aboard her.
