well I dl it but there weren't any actual program behind it.

also I dl GIMP, but that thing doesen't even have any linetool to begining with. God this seems hard...

Golly, I thought exactly the same as you. Eventually you just adapt how you draw. I wouldn't go back to the XP paint now after drawing a dozen ships on the 7 Paint. However not having a decent paintbrush to fill larger areas really annoys me,. Instead you get that crappy layered "look its a real watercolour or a pastel" type shading effect which bugs the hell out of me still.

Mess around a bit in the new Paint, try some stuff. Practice makes perfect Golly, it just takes time to adjust (took me a couple of months).
