Well, in this case they're not copying it but using our drawings the way they're supposed to be used.
Have we ever considered adding www.shipbucket.com to the templates?

well hotlinking something into PNG. images migth prove bit tricky, but plain text would be worth of considering.

I was thinking plain text. Most security systems kicks up a ruckus when you do the other stunt.

This is the best idea i have ever seen on SB.com.

We should do this to every drawing, this way we make commercial for the website, so we gain more people!
Im in for the idea!

Ah, that answers my question in the Rhein thread :D

And I would agree that one small URL on a drawing could mean a lot.

It would be very cool if some script would add the URL to the template automatically upon uploading it to the main site. This way only "kosher" drawing will display it and the problem of font size/standard look could be avoided. Although I'm not sure about feasibility of this approach, I'm just thinking out loud ;)
