What does posting on deviant art have to do with stolen images? I'm confused.
Just that I'm a member of DeviantArt myself and have cross-posted various drawings, but always kept the SB-style credits so as not to be accused of stealing someone else's work.

And as to the links Heuhen posted, aside from the credits, I have to say I admire the Bismarck BBN using the Exercise Rhine camo scheme and the 1962 Tirpitz.

the Bismarck BBN link

That Bismarck BBN is quite interesting and well executed. there are some minor things that I would have adjusted, but that just artistic. there are of course parts that I would relocate and adjust, and some that I would remove.

Haven't in a long long time, but came across this page and wanted to highlight it, don't know who did these excellent drawings but they are not credited:

I think these drawings are those MConrads did many years ago.

Well, thanks for the link but as you can see I'm already a member here...

No attempt has been made to pinch anything, just that most of this AU stuff is incomplete and I haven't even gotten around to posting it here. If I've missed anyone in the credits, please let me know and I'll fix it.

How about removing your name from all the images that don't hold a single pixel of your own art? Simply pasting an existing logo onto an image does not mean you get credit. Start with that.

Well I'd amended all of them in some way, shape or form, even if it's only down to the armaments. But if that's not enough to warrant a credit then consider it done.

if it just replacing some parts, or recolor a drawing.. that doesn't warrant a credit

you can add credit to an drawing when you start to redraw major part of the ship.

We Credit only for the ship we draw and not parts. parts are free to use by anyone...

Relax guys, and don't be mean to people who aren't super familiar with our rules.

A better way to credit FD or SB work that was created for an AU and is only slightly modified is to just do this:
Quote:
(Original Artist, modified by Modifying Artist)
This is IMO the best way to describe how the original work was altered. It shows how the original artist does not necessarily condone the modification made of their work, which is an important stipulation in IP protection.
