JG scale does seem rather cartoony though, some of the JG work is pretty rough stuff. Reminds me of 'Unknown's' early ships drawn eons ago. We've come a long, long way since then.

I've a scaled shipyard drawing of the battlecruiser Hindenburg from the book German Battlecruisers of World War One, by Gary Staff to 4 Pixels = 1 feet Scale and traced a 30.5cm main gun turret, I've added the same gun drawn at standard scale for comparison. So what do you guys think? I’m currently tracing the drawing of Hindenburg but thought I’d show you guys something.

I’m thinking that it’s best to stick to standard Shipbucket rules, opinions?

Looks good to me. I'm interested in seeing what you come up with - might give the rest of us an urge to think big.

I've made good headway with the drawing but I'm still far away from completing it, I'm not sure wither to post what I have so far or wait to when its completed. Its so hard fighting the urge to post it btw haha.

Suggestions?

Since I've seen so many replies to my question  I thought I'd post a few parts to show how much of an improvement (in my opinion) this scale is.

The bits are looking good, I certainly think its worth continuing work on the full ship.

Thanks Hood, I’ve posted what I’ve drawn so far in the Non-Shipbucket Drawings section. If you or anyone else what’s to have a look.
