Here are some stats.

Length 134.5m
Beam: 16m
Draft: 7m
Displacement: aprox 5,500 tons

Equipment:
2x MT-30 GTMs Driving 2 CRP shafts
4x FM Diesel generators

Combat system:
AEGIS SPY-1F(V)
AN/SQQ-89A(V) w/ AN/SQS-56 series Hull mounted sonar and AN/SQR-20 MFTA
Ku Band AN/SQR-4 Hawklink
SLQ-32 Mod 6
SRBOC launcher
NIXIE

Weapons:
MK45 Mod LWGS 5"/54
MK 41 VLS 32 cell forward
8x RGM-84 harpoon launcher
2 internal torpedo magazines capable of carrying a total of (18) mk 54 torpedoes with BUG.

Aircraft:
SH-60R/F x1
VTCUAV x2

Still trying to figure out If i want to try a CODLOG setup like FREMM or LHD-8 or a more conventional setup. Biggest concern was feeding the combat system and redundancy.

That seems mightily overpowered, doesn't it? Almost double the plant of an OHP (which, granted, was not the fastest ship in the fleet).

Looking a bit on it, there are some small things I just like to pick on!

and the Norwegian frigates (granted they do only 26+knots)

Type: Multi-role Frigate (Guided Missile and ASW)
Displacement: 5,290 tons full load
Length: 134m
Beam: 16.8m
Draft: 4.6m

Propulsion:
Combined diesel and gas (CODAG)
Two BAZAN BRAVO 12V 4.5 MW diesel engines for cruising
One GE LM2500 21.5 MW gas turbine for high speed running
MAAG gearboxes
two shafts driving controllable pitch propellers
Bow Thruster Retractable (Electric)1 MW Brunvoll
Diesel Generators 4 × MTU 396 Serie 12V 1250 KVA

Speed: 26+ knots (48+ km/h)
Range: 4,500nm @ 16 knots (8,300 km @ 30 km/h)

Complement: 120, accommodations for 146

But I wonder how she shall manage to carry 54 cell MK-41 VLS on the bow, when the half a meter shorter and 80 cm wider Norwegian frigate can only carry 16 cell MK-41 VLS, and they are reported to have some rough-sea performance issues, due to the weight in the bow. (but that might just be that Navanti wasn't good enough to scale down the hull from Alvaro Bazan to the smaller Norwegian frigate...)

I would expect the RAM launcher to be on the Hangar roof since you have an VLS with ESSM and an 76 mm on the forward deck.

The goal is to have 32 cells foward. I think the Type 26 ffg (GCS) is saying they are going to have 48 cells foward (?!) I don't think it's impossible on a hull that size. It will depend allot on internal space planning and leveraging technology like COTS to minimize equpiment racks and cabinets. Also the extensive use of fiber will reduce weight somewhat through out the ship.

As I am looking at different engineering plant setups, I am leaning more towards an IPS setup with 2 MT-30 SSTGs and 2 F-M SSDGs driving 2 electric motors. I think the weight of the electric motors will help balance the weight of the VLS and 5" gun.

Thanks for the feed back and suggestions, they are driving my thoughts in a constructive way.

A ship of this size and as replacement to OHP would carry the 76mm. just like the OHP do. she doesn't need any bigger gun since these type of ships are more often used as an Escort-multi mission. The advantage of the 76mm over the 5" is the 76mm can act as an Heavy CIWS.

And you need to add two torpedo tubes (behind some hatches). they should be placed on the same deck and just in front of the Hangar. since they share torpedoes with helicopters.

The Perry is the first and last major USN combatant to carry the Oto 76mm, and previous ships of her size (and smaller) carried the much heavier 5"/38 and 5"/54. It wasn't even a major feature of the design in the first place; the FFG-7's were to carry nothing larger than 35mm until a little bit of space and weight margin opened up.

I have absolutely no idea why everyone is always so certain the USN would be excited to add more 76mm mounts to the inventory. Every indication is that they were an experiment with which the USN was less than happy.

yeah they might just use the 56 mm since that is what they using on that LCS-dingy. for I see no reason why an frigate that most likely will take the the job as an carrier escort, that "AB" destroyers have had to now, should have an 5".

But my knowledge about US-Navy tactics is limited. but I would always go for the best AAW coverage if they was to be used as an Carrier escort.... thus an 56 mm over the 5"

The air defense of a modern carrier battle group is not likely to be substantially affected by the size of a single pop-gun barrel on a single escort.

It's not like they sit 500yd off the port bow like it's WW2.

Big Navy has a raging hard on for naval gun fire support. Also I think the 5" performs better in Ship v Ship scenarios. They would put it on there I think for the same reasons the South Korean FFX has a 5 incher.

Also I will definately put Tico style torp rooms on this ship. I have had too many nightmare ammo evolutions on Flight I and Flight IIA burkes and too many fond memories of torpedo loading on a Cruiser.
