OK I have removed my incorrect Antelope from the badge.

I also did one for Achates, does this come closer to the badge?

Very nearly Nigel. The Admiralty pattern badge shows two right hands/arms on the spear, the top one knuckles showing the bottom one thumb showing. :geek:

:D Nigel, heraldic isn't always logical. With your skills I'm certain you could draw the HMS Antelope badge, but if you aren't too much for it cause the "wrongly" appearance, I will do it for you ;)

Thank you Kim, that would be very good. Not sure if I am cut out to do the real life ones yet. I am happy to keep doing ones for my PD units till I get better with them.

Aparently Achtes was bossom buddy with Aeneas so it's probable about two right hands on the spear.

You're right Bombhead, the spear is hold by two right hands. In fact it also makes some sence, that it is hold by two persons, because no one has so broad shoulders to hold a spear in such a way one man :D

I have updated my Antelope COA to this version.

Also redid the badge for Achates, I could not tell what was on the left arm, I have given it some chain mail.
