The important things to standardize don't get on to your drawing - ammunition and gun drill.

You're absolutely right.

Maybe I was originally thinking about the Mk 37 director since this was originally about the Yukikaze's fire director? Then again those had some variants too with the different radars didn't they?

Yeah not really sure what the hell I was thinking.

Hi KWAM!

As promised I've drawn the correct main director for the yukikaze. The one on the right under the "miscellaneous directors - DD"

Also check your PMs for further linedrawings.

So I've made some edits based off the sources BB1987 sent me.

This includes stuff like the new fire director, updated rigging, and edited details here and there.

One thing I'm not too sure about is the stuff underneath the bridge windows. I only added it just now, and I'm not quite certain what exactly it is. Pretty sure it's not the fabric bags that the IJN likes to put on their ships. On a lot of the models and paintings I've seen it looks like some extra armor plating so that's what I've drawn it as, but again I'm not certain.

I'm pretty sure those should be extra plates to give the bridge crew some more splinter protection (or strafing from US aircrafts).

Looks like a very well done rendition anyway. I'd encorage you to do Yukikaze's 1941 and 1943 configuration. You have bot the skill and the needed linedrawings to do that!

I was actually considering this, but I decided to go ahead and do the Izumo-class DDH first.

It'll be my first drawing from scratch, so you can look forward to me embarrassing myself with THAT in the near future.
