Some help needed!

I did a new Aero L-29 drawing, but I'm not yet satisfied with the canopies.

Which one looks better, the left one or the right?
I think the canopies of left one looks too round, and the ones of the right one too flat.

I think that round canopies look better, real aircraft seem to have quite round canopies.

IMHO the "flat" version on the right looks closer to the original. The rounded version makes it look closer to a more modern Hawk, M-311 or AlphaJet.
Granted, it doesn't look great as such, but this aircraft has never been the most elegant in its class. Best you can do with such a scale, anyway.

I'm gonna have to agree with Citizen here. After looking at this image, it seems flatter.

I prefer the one on the left as the L-29 canopy is not entirely flat.

Hello Cascadia!

Both are right and both are wrong. The truth is exactly in between, but half pixels unfortunately are not possible. But for whatever my opinion is worth: the one with the flat canopy better captures the air of the original, I think; the rounded canopy does not say 1960s, it looks too modern.

Greetings
GD

Thanks for your feedback.
For now we got two votes for the more rounded one and three for the flatter one.
And as @GD says, I think the rounded one looks a bit too modern. So I guess I will use the right one.

I always knew you would choose the 'right' one Cascadia.

Great job on all of the SB scale drawings. Just doing ships is difficult enough, getting the lifelike looks into aircraft is excellent work.
