An ambitious design for BN, and as you say quite odd looking, but an excellent addition to this thread.

Hey guys, have you heard about the "747 look" 747-700X? It's a very large aircraft proposed by Boeing in the 1990s. The plane is 279 feet long, the same length as the 747-600X, with a fuselage widened by 1 seat per edge for 12 abreast seating in the main deck and 6 to 7 abreast on the partial upper deck, the capacity of 650 passengers, a slightly but noticeably longer upper deck than the 600X, a slightly shorter nose, a 23 meter tall tail, and the same engines, systems, landing gear, struts, and wingspan as the 747-500X and the 747-600X. Before you say anything about drawing this plane in FD scale, I would love to. posting.php?mode=edit&f=27&p=173241# However, I don't have a PC, just a Mac computer. Also, the picture of what this plane looks like compared to a 747-400 is deleted. posting.php?mode=edit&f=27&p=173241# But the information I just gave you about it in this comment might be just enough for you. If any one reads this, tell me what you think of this planes information.

From what I know it was planned to have the same wing of the 747-500/600 and a redesigned wider fuselage, but apart that, I have absolutely no idea how it would have looked.

I'll tell you that it has a slightly different cockpit and slightly shorter nose than all other 747 variants, has a 75 foot tall tail, and a very slightly stretched partial upper deck. Does that count?

If you are already asleep, I don't mind. If you wake up and remember to see this, let me know first thing the morning.

Hey guys, have you seen the 747 advanced? It's a variant of the 747 proposed in 2004 that became the current 747-8 shortly after. The 747 advanced is 243 feet in length, 7 feet shorter than the current 747-8, and with raked wingtips that are exactly like those of the unbuilt 747-400XQLR. If you haven't seen the plane, click here to see it: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/showthread.php?t=1322455 You might also have to scroll down a little to see it.
