First of all I'd like to thank DESK Mk.VIII rendering services for the render of the 3D model used to make this drawing.

This is the German cruiser Yorck from WG's infamous World of Warships. This ship is based on Entwurf I/10 and serves as a missing link between the earlier Light Cruisers of the Königsberg and Leipzig classes and the Admiral Hipper-class. The drawing has been done following the model closely and very few concessions have been given either to the model or SB format. If you compare this to DG_Alpha's Design I/10 drawing you will see that they indeed look a lot alike, though there are a number of differences, specially to bring the ship up to circa 1944 spec in order for it to fit the gameplay better, and a small transom stern reminiscent of the Light Cruisers.

However, there are a number of issues on the ship that come to attention, first of which is the tiny propellers which look completely incapable of moving a ship of this size at the 25+ knots it should have made.

The second one is the odd attempt at sonar bulbs on the bow. The ship in game counts with a "hydrophone" ability and it seems they intended to represent a sort of "Balkongerät", but poorly. I'm not an expert on German underwater listening devices but I'm sure there's a better way to represent this, for example by dotting the side of the hull with hydrophone discs in a semi-circular fashion.

The side members of the mainmast tripod end on a joint on the deck instead of going deep into the ship. While not being an expert on the issue, I do think this would transfer loads into the superstructure, which is not a load bearing structure.

If you can think of any other serious issues please do let me know.

Finally here's one with the in-game premium camouflage.

Please tell me your opinion and feedback!

VERY well drawn!

It's quite a good looking cruiser too.

Noice.

WG really made those props comically small though

Excellent drawing!
One of my favourite ships in the game.

The bulges seem to represent the hydrophone equipment carried by the Hippers and Scharnhorsts.
Here's a nice pitcure of Adm. Hipper showing them:

Also, I think the struts for the main mast are fine, when compared withe the initial masts on the Scharnhorsts and Panzerschiffe.
There, the struts were mounted directly to the funnel.

The only thing, that I think is kinda odd, are the four(!) night-fighting rangefinders mounted on the ship.

An interesting design.
All the of these WoW ships have some merit as what-ifs, even if they do have flaws (though even 'real' ships often had design flaws).
To me the ship looks a little short for a heavy cruiser and would probably be quite cramped. Perhaps there are too many fire-control directors as well (no less than 13 rangefinders!).

The camo looks hideous though, I don't think any German ship used those colours (as far as I know).

That's tame compared to some of the other camo schemes on that game. One of the many reasons I quit playing it.

The design seems a little neurotic to me, but it's certainly well drawn. I learned something new today regarding those bow hydrophone arrays!

Thanks a lot for your comments! Indeed I learned some very interesting things, did not expect at all that the bow bulges were real.
I still don't know what the small slotted director seen above the bridge, on the bridge wings and aft is.

According to Maomatic's post, I'd guess those are night-fighting rangefinders.
