Been here in the forums for so long, but lack of time hampered any attempt to draw anything.

So finally, I'm presenting my first attempt here. The concept is an ASW frigate circa 1980s. She is still incomplete (the helideck area and underwater hull, which I'm really struggling to draw :| ).

I really wanted to improve my drawing skills so thanks for any comments.

it's a good start, don't see it massively wrong. You jut need to adjust some of you'r lines. for example the stern, should be flat at an angle, and not round, and the bow... interesting shape, if you want it to bend, paint have a tool for that.

Have a look in the main page archive. http://shipbucket.com/

The basic design looks pretty good.

I would say two things to work on:
- your drawings look quite top heavy and too tall, remember that in SB scale (2 pixels = 1ft) that an average deck height is about 16-17 pixels high. So your superstructures could be lower and much better proportioned.
- your curves need a little work, it takes time to master but practice makes perfect.

Then you can start adding shading etc. to overhangs and swapping some of the old weapon and radar parts with newer ones.

Thanks sir, I'll be practicing more to achieve better results. Thanks for the feedback!
