The T.2s might be cleared for ASRAAM but I don't think the T.1s ever were.

Remember you'll be operating the McDonnell Douglas Hawks not the BAE ones, not sure on armament options for them either... Personally I think you'd be better off with Skyhawks.

Right about the time that The British Government was looking at a replacement for the Type 21 in 1980, the Australian Government made contact to find out the parameters of the replacement. After a designs studies were submitted the RN after the input of the RAN selected the the Jersey Class as the design to move forward with. The first Jersey Class were built for the RAN, with 6 delivered between 1982 and 1987 (builds slotted in with RN orders.

This delay did cause the Australian Navy several issues with Ship numbers, but the risk was considered worth the reward. VT also began work on new Yard in Melbourne in 1984 to work on upgrade and possible future orders with eyes on the upcoming New Surface Combatant competition.

I can't quite understand this ship. she looks mostly non-stealth, or maybe semi-stealth, but still she has ESSM, so I believe she should be in the stealth era. still you have the sensor fit and underwater hull of the perry, which is rather outdated by now...... and I can't find anything that refers to the brits on this ship. quite an possible ship, but it has some mistakes (and is the Phalanx the new drawing?) the WM-22 is an outdated drawing as well.

sorry should have said.

This is the Union class as seen in 2001. It's the Jersey Class of the UK produced for Australia rather than them purchasing the Perry Class from the US. In this AU the RN and RAN are both using US systems.
