Because every one wants one.

And you will need it when you go in to harbor on a bad day!

Yeah, that's not even a yacht, that's a cabin cruiser on a speedboat hull.
Speedboat hull?

and for some a 11 meter boat will be a yacht, and for some not!

If you can't moor in a cross wind with two props, 100+hp and a mooring line then you shouldn't own a boat in the first place.

I do that with one motor (25hp) and one straight shaft. But there are always idiots out there.

But the main reason for bow thrusters (and aft thrusters) is not mainly to help idiots to get inn. but reduce wear on the gearbox.

Think of it. you will for instance take a 360/180 with the boat, running ahead with one engine while the other engine is in reverse. this will result in wear on the gearbox, engine, axle.

I can give you an example:
We have a local boat where I come from. MS Vøringen, a 19 * 9 meter catamaran. She often maneuvered in tight spaces (in and out of the dock with many small boats around it) which gave a large abrasion on her engines and gearboxes. she had every year a new gearbox and axle, and every 3/4 years new engine, because. wear. but then they installed bow thrusters. thereby increasing the life of both the transmission, axle and engine. she has actually managed to run on the same gearbox for 3 years soon. and the engines have only had regular maintenance. Another bonus: she reduced the fuel consumption.

but this boat is only 11 meter with most likely 2*350 hp engines. and a replacing of a engine or a gearbox can be expensive. And insurance company will most likely be happy to save the cost of those repairs if you as a person can help them with reducing wear on the machine and gears.

You can take a super tanker in to harbor by engine. but how often do you see that happens!?!

Good work Heuhen, she looks marvelous. I can appreciate the use of bow thrusters on her too as, living in an aera where currents are wild, docking can be very challenging even without any wind.

This boat is designed for a type of a hybrid propulsion system. the hull use a modified Rolls Royce knife-bow. (It shall reduce the fuel consumption up to 15% but I am happy if it manage 5%, the hull it self is designed to give maximum cruising speed with less engine power and thus save fuel, the hull is round with semi flat aft bottom for increased lift aft, large "lead" keel to stop excessive motion and to stop the boat from moving out of course, bow have a small lift to better turning circle. the superstructure is drawn to give best aerodynamic as possible without damaging the design to much.

On batteries and both Diesel generators: 15-18 knots+-(range depends on fuel and battery package)
Both Diesel engine with boost from electric-motors on batteries: 22+ knots (Range depends on battery package)

Fly: sofa groups, navigation station, mini bar and grill.
Maine deck: aft deck with seating area, lounge with sitting area, galley, dining area, helm, foredeck with seating areas.
lower deck: sleeping area, toilets, (aft cabin), store, engine room.

LOL, the colors definitely stand out.

And very interesting design. It's definitely a very unique propulsion system.

I like it, especially the colors. Way better than white fiberglass!
