Very nice work Craig,

No need to tell you to "keep up the good work" with that grade of drawing.

One "small" detail : The starboard navigation light is green, not red.

Mind blowingly awesome!

I agree with Golly, FD scale would be great for doing smaller mini-subs (X-craft, Chariot etc.).

Revisions made:
(see the Type XXIII images). Can't believe I reversed the port and starboard nave lights. Red lines gone.
WILL UPLOAD NEW IMAGES LATER, I think photobucket is having issues or maybe has a time lage for internal updates on revision uploads
Thanks all for the complements!
I'm actually hoping this might motivate others to try subs in FD! It's amazing what can be done in this scale...Might even be possible to do interiors.

@ raafif: I've not thought about what I might do next with FD subs. Well, maybe the Type VII or maybe some other small late war experimental boats.

Drawing the Type XXIII started as a break from Project Sail and that Light Carrier I've been working on. That and I've been in the mood to physically model something. I ran into an image of an 1/32 scale R/C Type XXIII I built and sold back in the 1990's. I want another one (or maybe a Schnelboot in 1/35 scale)...nice technically complex detailing and modeling work. Actually, subs are getting fairly simple with plug and play pressure hulls and electronic systems now (but really expensive).

You still have stray pixels in left upper corner. ;)
